New o.d.m. Watches
o.d.m.’s newest modern watches, the MY01 and MY02 Reverse Collection, comes from designer Michael Young. Both watches are very sleek. On the MY01 Reverse analog collection, you will not find a side button, but a super large knock-sensor at its face, making it a very unique piece. The wearer can simply tap it to activate the EL backlight function that enables a glow below the button. The minimal design of the three hands allows only their tips to appear on the outer ring of the button for a total new perspective in time.
Moleskine’s New Kindle Cover
I don't have a Kindle but I love it. I have a Moleskine notebook and I love it. If only I could put my imaginary Kindle in a Moleskine…now I can!
The notebook is slightly larger than the Kindle and has the signature Moleskine cover and elastic band for closure. The inside is a totally different story. The interior is covered in a slightly furry suede-like material to keep your Kindle from getting scratched. On the right, there are four elastics that go on each corner of your device to hold it in place.
On the left is a pocket, in which a thin, reporter-style (top seam) notebook is nestled. I don’t know about you but I sometimes need to take notes when I read. One thing that I think is missing is a pen loop, but then again, there isn’t one in the traditional Moleskine notebooks.
The Crib Prefab
The Crib is a new concept that they’re calling “enviresponsible” — a miniature prefab that can be used as a weekend cabin, a backyard office, studio or guest house.
There are two models to choose from. The structure is inspired by basic American corn cribs that were commonly used to store dry corn and protect it from rodents.
Watch3 by Steven Götz
This watch designed by Steven Götz, is a limited and numbered edition of 100 pieces. The premise of the design is to add readability to the watch, so the hours are printed on the underside of the crystal in white and are only visible when the black hour hand passes under them. To add readability in the dark, the entire white surface of the dial is covered in Luminova, a non-radioactive, nontoxic, phosphorescent paint based on the luminescence of deepsea fish.
Leaf-It sticky notes

Flow Table by Lamar Pretorius
Flow is the first product in a fresh range of furniture by Lamar Pretorius for 2010. The table allows the user to change the geometry by rearranging the shapes. The flowing combination of pieces is what inspired the table’s name.
The top is made from beautiful solid Kiaat with white lacquered sides. The top rests on polycarbonate legs, creating a very clean and fresh feel. These tables are available for purchase in 4 pieces, 6 pieces or 8 piece sets. You can contact Lamar Pretorius atsales@lamar.co.za.

Hotel Inntel
If you aren’t moved with love or hate by The Hotel Inntel in Zaandam The Netherlands by Wilfried van Winden of WAM Architecten I suggest you check your pulse.
The town center of Zaandam is being revamped by Sjoerd Soeters to be brought back to its rich heritage — historical street layouts are being renewed and the dull and impersonal town center is being revitalized with a new hotel — one that incorporates the historical stylistic features of Zaanse Schans village.
The hotel, which opened back in March, is a striking building to say the least. The design has generated quite a bit of attention from international media. Comprising 160 rooms, a pool, and wellness center, the 12-story hotel has already had hundreds of guests. Designer Wilfried van Winden envisioned a place in which guests could feel at home, even when away from home. Therefore, the hotel has been designed to look like stacked houses, resembling a range of residences from a notary’s manse to a worker’s cottage. In fact there are about 70 little houses in four shades of Zaanse Schans green. Particularly eye-catching is the “The Blue House,” inspired by the eponymous artwork that Claude Monet painted in Zaandam in 1871.

Icon Letter and Envelope
This reminds me of the icon notepad — the icon letter and envelope from Brigada Creativa is a cheeky take on a physical letter using well-recognized computer iconography.
Jesus Saves Piggy Bank
Wyatt Little designed this piggy bank in the shape of a cross. Called Jesus Saves, it has a corkscrew piggy tail in the back. Little says, “If there is one thing everyone can agree on, its that churches are very good at raising and making money.”
