The science project collection
Heather Lins has a new collection of eco-friendly pillows that are based on well-known scientific diagrams. The Science Project Collection is rendered in eco-friendly materials: 100% wool background with Sensuede applique. Sensuede is like ultra-suede but made out of recycled plastic bottles. Each pillow’s title is based on the diagram’s scientific discipline: Anatomy, Geology or Botany.

Ring a Day Project
Colleen Baran's Ring a Day Project is ambitious to say the least. We love what she has done so far and she’s barely into the year. It is exciting to see what day 365 will be.
Backyard Offices!
Did you noticed a trend going on these days? Offices in the backyard! The convenience of just walking rather than driving to work is too good to pass up. Check out these backyard offices that allow people to get away from the house without really getting away and save the hassles of dealing with traffic, commuting costs, or space rentals.
This small recording studio designed by Piet Hein Eek for entertainer Hans Liberg is a modern spin on a log cabin. The exterior is consists of many logs that cover a plastic and steel frame.
WorkPod by Ecospace is a gorgeous, contemporary backyard office would definitely appeal to design addicts. Other than its great looks, the space is built-in the office technology you need to get your work done.
There’s something about the round shape of the Archipod that makes me want to wrap my arms around it when I see it. It looks small, but it’s actually bigger inside than you think and it fits in with the backyard landscape very nicely.
dmvA’s Blob VB3 is an egg-shaped unit that can be used for an office or even a living space. It definitely reminds me of a giant marshmallow jelly bean.
The OfficePOD creates an environment that supports productivity and provides the user with an efficient use of space. It’s made using as many recycled and recyclable materials as possible and there’s a low level energy consumption along with a high level of insulation.

Infinite Usb
Gonglue Jiang’s concept for the Infinite USB managed to snag the iF Concept Award for 2010. Comes in pretty colors and looks like it belongs to a Mac. Now that’s good design.

Maze Wall Hanging
I love cb2’s new outdoor collection, but I what I love best is this Maze Wall Hanging. You can get just one or put a bunch together to create a vertical garden effect (indoors or out). Read the instructions on how to create a vertical garden on cb2’s blog.
iLog
The iLog is a wooden dock for your i-whatever created by Judson Beaumont’s Vancouver Company, Straight Line Designs Inc.
At this time, this iLog is a working prototype and these are only being made on order, but you can get one from Straight Line for about $500.
